Kris Johnson

I was a wife and mother of two young children 6 and 2 years old at the time. Life was so hectic and like so many other moms, I was taking care of everyone else around me but forgetting to take care of me. I knew in the back of my mind that I was letting myself go, and I could see it every time I looked in the mirror, and feel it every time I put on clothes. There was even a time I cried in a department store dressing room because I couldn’t fit into anything. But I avoided the scale and avoided reality like a pro for years just focusing on day to day Motherhood and eating whatever was quick and easy. As the weight gained I grew more and more self conscious. I would even find myself avoiding mirrors so I didn’t have to see my own reflection. My self consciousness and displeasure in my body became a 24/7 issue. It was always on my mind constantly. I just wanted to be the confident woman I used to be but all I wanted to do was hide. I felt like I was living in someone else’s body.
The day came when I realized that it was more difficult to live without loving myself fully...than it would be to do what I had to do to lose the weight. That day I did an assessment with a trainer and found out I was 256lbs. I was shocked after having avoided the scale for so long.

Hands down this girl is responsible for where I am and who I am. My confidence, mental strength and determination is because she knew how to build me up from where I was, but not just to make me feel better she used tough love. She built me in a way that would last.

I started working out with Kris a little over 3 months ago and I feel like I have overcome so many boundaries already. When I first did my assessment with her, there was so much I couldn’t do. She challenges me to do exercises I never thought I could. She keeps me accountable for my cardio homework & dieting. If she didn’t check on me, I wouldn’t do it. Not only that, but she checks on my well being too. I’m so glad I found her & have made so much progress already with my figure. I’ve tried many programs and professionals and nothing seemed to excite me the way training with kris does!
